Family Caregiver Support Program which is under Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services provides help to unpaid family and friends who care for an older adult at home, and those caring for a person of any age who has Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia. These are some of the services that are available: support groups, counseling, training, and short-term respite, plus access to durable medical equipment.
