Village Operations and Support

We always welcome additional volunteers to our Village teams.

Village teams handle all the day-to-day operations and support of the Village. Each Village Team has a list of tasks, large and small, that keep things moving. Listed below are the operating teams with their main responsibilities.

Membership: home visits, membership renewals, member relations

Volunteer training and management: assist with orientation and training activities, volunteer assignments, volunteer appreciation

Schedulers: monitors daily service requests, monitors Village email and phones calls

Office Services: coordinates mailings, performs administrative tasks, sends cards, maintains vendor lists

Activities and Events: organizes events and activities to promote an engaging and vibrant Village life.

Communications and Marketing: updates social media, sends email communications, produces newsletter, plans marketing efforts, provides marketing content, takes photos

Outreach: presents information sessions, plans community outreach efforts, supports tabling events, attends civic and local business events

Fundraising/Resource Development: implements resource development plan; identifies funding sources, potential donors and sponsors

Administration and Finance: provides strategic planning, maintains annual budget, tracks Village finances

Technology: website maintenance and updates, system training
