Are you interested in why the federal government makes certain decisions and follows certain policies?
Do you have opinions about how the U.S. should be dealing with other governments in certain regions of the world?
This Great Decisions group provides you the forum to learn about and discuss the most critical global issues facing America today.
Topic: U.S. - China Relations - Washington’s relations with Beijing have reached an ominous low ebb. Both American political parties have identified China as the country’s preeminent geopolitical challenger and, in the eyes of many, a systemic threat.
- What is driving this deterioration of Sino-American relations, and what are America’s strategic options in the face of Chinese power and ambition?
The local Hillsboro Great Decisions group meets at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Washington County, 6815 NE Birch St, Hillsboro on the first and third Saturdays during February through May. Each meeting is at 10:00 am in the church social hall. Coffee and snacks provided.
Interested? Send an email to [email protected] for more details or just show up on Saturday morning.
